位于东基尔布莱德的多兰游泳中心是苏格兰建筑师Alexander Buchanan Campbell的代表作,Thorn索恩灯具的使用使其焕发新的光彩。该游泳中心于1968年开张,是苏格兰第一家拥有50米泳道的游泳池。这座具有预应力的混凝土建筑于20世纪90年代中期进行过翻新,使用8列与泳道平行的嵌入式高天井灯具提供照明。如今,经南拉纳克郡议会投资900万英镑进行翻修后,这座A类建筑采用配备金属卤素灯泡的Troika平置玻璃泛光灯提供照明。

两列环绕整个游泳池的灯具悬于专用框架上,向上打亮覆盖在拱形天花板上的高反光性材料。

除了提供明快的白光以外(为观众和救生员提供统一的光线以及无眩光的视野),该照明系统还能减少维护时间和灯泡更换次数。与众不同的是,这次安装还额外使用了Qba LED泛光灯来提供紧急照明,电源来自当地中央电池系统。

400W Troika泛光灯可以根据一般或者比赛用途提供能够切换的照明水平;该场馆是2011年国际儿童运动会在拉纳克郡内的主要场馆之一。

除主游泳区外,小型健身房/舞蹈室搭配使用Jupiter II荧光灯和Prospector聚光灯提供照明,若干个D-CO LED和Cruz射灯则搭配Arrowslim灯条用于休闲区域。
